Easy Double Crochet Hat

This is a hat I make for charities, sales, and personal use
It is a very simple pattern and it is very easy to remember:

           Materials: 
              Size I hook
              1/4 skein of worsted weight yarn

This hat was not made with this pattern.

           Abbreviations:
                 slp st    slip stitch
                 ch         chain
                 dc         double crochet
                 st           stitch


                 Chain 5 slp st in 5th stitch making a ring

   Round 1:  12 dc in ring slp st in first s.t

   Round 2: ch 2, 2 dc in each dc join with a slp st.

   Round 3:   ch 2, 2 dc in first st 1 dc in next st repeat until the end of the round.

   Round 4:   ch 2, 2 dc in first st 1 dc in next 2 sts repeat until the end of the round

   Round 5:   ch 2, 2 dc in first st 1 dc in next 3 sts repeat until the end of the round,

   Round 6-13   1 dc in each dc join with slp st ch 2

    join with a slp st and bind off.

Breast Cancer Awareness

Last night I was wondering what to crochet. Finally I thought about Breast Cancer ribbons. My grandma was diagnosed with Breast Cancer a few years ago and lost her hair during chemotherapy. It still hasn't all grown back. So anyway I whipped up a ribbon that looks a little like mine. This is not the one one I made but It's close enough. I have made seven or eight of these. I plan to put a magnet or a pin on the back of them.

How I Made Them:

• chain 23
• in the 2nd chain 1 sc 
• sc in the rest of the chains
• bind off
• make work into ribbon shape
• sew into place

Minnie Mouse

My sister's birth day is in April so I decided to make her a minnie mouse hat. Don't worry she is two and a half and obsessed with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Her favorite character is Minnie mouse. This is a picture of the hat I found on repeatcrafterme.com. I'm making only the minnie mouse hat  Maybe I will make the Mickey Mouse hat for my teen brother! He will. LOVE it:-)

We do lots of thing we raise money for dog shelters and we knit things to sell or for warm up america!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Girl With Many Interests

Me and my mom have a small garden but a lot of oregono so we decided to cut some of it down but we didn't want to waste all of it. So we looked online how to dry oregono. Its  ery you just cut some down dry it on a plate for a few day, crumple it off the stems an put it in the air tight canning jar. Me and my mom are in the drying stage!

My new hobby

Over the weekend I found a new hobby thanks to my teacher! YOU ROCK! Anyway my new hobby is sewing. Trust me its tons of fun when you don't get stabbed from the needle. I found some needles and tread in my drawer. I made some bags for the girl scouts and some dog toys. I love to sit in front of the TV and knit, crochet, and sew. You should try it.
